Organic Vegetable Growing

Traditionally vegetable gardens would require a huge amount of work and attention, along with people telling us to plant green manure crops and to add inorganic fertilizers or chemicals in order to adjust imbalance in the soils. Which all takes a lot of time and an all year round dedication to be able to grow your own vegetables the traditional way! But it really does not need to be that difficult at all.

Many traditional vegetable growing techniques are to do with problems, you may have noticed that gardening books are packed full of ways to fix problems. But often the solution to one problem will then result in more and more problems along the way.

Although, there is a solution to this problem! If you use a technique that combines pest ecology, plant ecology, soil ecology and crop management into a method that addresses the causes of these problems. In order for this to work, this technique has to be effective enough to be economically viable. Also it is vital that it is able to produce enough food, per given area, to compete against the traditional techniques.

One of the reasons that traditional gardeners may not be too keen on this method is the fact that it kind of gets rid of all the mystery of being an expert. Because this method is so simple that anybody in the world, under any conditions, will be able to do it. And for many expert gardeners it can be pretty threatening when a solution as simple as this comes along.
